The Rebar bending machine is a mechanism for bending steel bars, which belongs to steel bar processing machinery and it is widely used at construction sites. Full-automatic CNC rebar bending machine integrates a variety of process such as steel bar feeding, straightening, bending forming, counting, cutting, which can save much labor. The equipment adopts upper machine controlling and servo driving motor technology, with fast speed and large torque, producing various sizes and specifications’ stirrups.

EAS200 Introduction



EAS200 full digital control asynchronous servo drive can effectively control moving object ’s position (angle), speed (angular velocity) and acceleration (angular velocity), can compensate synchronous servo’s shortages such as permanent magnet demagnetization, anti-vibration, high speed limitation, high power Limitations, high cost and difficulty in starting.  


The application of EAS200 in the rebar bending machine adopts external encoder length measuring function and its measuring roller external encoder fixed length function, automatic telescopic head function, automatic cutting function, and bending angle automatic compensation function.

EAS200 solution



The EAS200 adopts full-closed loop control on the rebar bending machine, and each machine is equipped with two EAS200s to control the feeding and bending of the motor. 


1. System configuration 


Operation interface: 1 set, operator sets parameters which can control the the size and shape of the bending bar 

Controller: 1 set, after receiving the setting of operation interface, controls the EAS200 asynchronous servo controller according to the system requirements. 

Feed motor: 1 set, controls steel bar feeding 

Bending hoop motor: 1 set, bends the steel bar 

EAS200: 2 sets, respectively controls feeding motor and bending motor External encoder: 1 set, installed on the roller of the steel bar forward, and transmits the position signal of the steel bar to the EAS200. 


2. System control 


The power of feeding motor is large, and the power of bending motor is small, both of them are controlled by pulse from the upper machine. The EAS200 that controls the feeding motor not only receives the pulse signal from the motor encoder and also receives the signal from the encoder measuring the progress position of reinforcing bar. The signal is installed on the roller of the steel bar forward, converts the linear position information of the steel bar into a pulse signal and gives feedback to the EAS200 controller to complete the external position control.
